Origin Story:
Face it, a vest is a great addition to almost any daily attire. Its utilitarian pockets can hold all the trappings of modern life while disguising the results of a big lunch or just that dribble of coffee from this morning. I love vests. I love them all year round. It is clear that many other men love vests, too (ahem). But I don't love what has happened to them. They've been dumbed-down and become a joke. I set out to make a vest I loved to wear in a variety of fabrics for each season. Minimalist in design to offer the greatest range of wearability. Enough pockets, but not too many. No company logos allowed.
How It Wears:
Everywhere all the time. Great alone and as a laying piece under outerwear. This pairs most easily with denim. The gilet enhances casual attire, while standing out from the banal fleece vest. Excellent for traveling, commuting or running out for a coffee with friends.
